The Geographe wine region has one of the earlier harvest seasons out of all regions, and many wineries are already underway with picking their 2017 vintage.

Green Door Wines in the Ferguson Valley have begun crushing their chardonnay, and St Aidan Wines has begun picking theirs.

Oakway Estate is also picking chardonnay, with 2.5 tonnes of sauvignon blanc ready for picking too.

Willow Bridge is picking their harvest as of late February, and Vineyard 28 in Harvey is well underway harvesting their muscat.

It’s all hands on deck to ensure the grapes make it from vine to winemaker to produce the award winning wines that continually make it out of the Geographe wine region.
