Traveller.com.au released a list of the top 20 reasons to visit the Swan Valley, featuring eight of the region’s best wineries.

Next on the list is Olive Farm Wines, which, at 188 years old, is the oldest winery in WA. Their fortified wines are their most highly commended, with the Liqueur Verdelho a particular stand out, darkened by 25 years aged in oak. While your there, don’t forget to stop at The Cheese Barrel next door and pair your wine with some top-end artisanal cheese.
Mandoon Estate seems to be the ultimate go-to destination on a day out, as it offers a winery, brewery, restaurant and art gallery all in one! Not to mention the accommodation coming soon. If you’re feeling like some entertainment, you can even stop by for one of their sunset cinema sessions throughout summer. There’s so many amazing options on offer, so take a trip to the public cellar door or book in a private tasting today.
If you’re looking for some more interesting cellar doors with diverse offerings, make sure to stop by Houghton Wines, John Kosovich Wines, Talijancich Wines and Black Swan Winery and Restaurant. On top of the tasting list includes the Houghton traditional white burgundy and the John Kosovich 2010 bottle aged Chenin.
